Comecei com a febre de tricotar gorros em Setembro e nunca mais parei!
Adoro fazer gorros, as primeiras volta faço quase sempre iguais mas depois vou tricotando e a pesar de nunca saber muito bem o que vou fazer quando começo, de repente o gorro vai tomando forma e aparece feito. Gosto quando fecho o gorro, diminuindo malhas ou passando a linha e o coso, transformando uma coisa plana numa forma tridimensional. Coso porque ainda não aprendí a tricotar em círculo (ai ai ai), mas hei-de aprender e tenho a certeza que vou adorar usar essa técnica.
Os gorros que a Rosa tricota são lindos, têm cores e lãs mesmo especiais, estão bem feitos e bem acabados, e é bom tocá-los.
Estou ansiosa pelo próximo Knitting Meetup!
Ainda em relação ao prazer de fazer gorros, adoro também o momento especial dos acabamentos: escolher cores, cortar, colocar, hesitar, bordar, aplicar e acabar!

Começa já na próxima sexta feira a baby feira mix. Vou lá estar com coisas que crio para o planeta dodo e para o planeta hilda: CANDEEIROS, SACOS, QUADROS, e GORROS. A Rosa também vai estar lá, e estou ansiosa por ver ao vivo as maravilhas que faz com as mãos. E para além disso tudo, no sábado, um encontro extraordinário das tricotadeiras. Espero ansiosamente a vossa visita.

Gostei de ver a reportagem sobre o Lisboa Knitting Meetup 3 na Tv. A repórter Andréia Vale esteve connosco e percebeu e comunicou muito bem o espírito da iniciativa, gostei muito, parabéns Andréia, good job! Choveram emails e telefonemas e parece-me que acabámos por contaminar muita gente com o vírus benigno do tricot. Que divertido ter o feedback de tanto interesse e entusiasmo. No blog da Rosa, muitas respostas e comentários animados e entusiasmados. O próximo encontro promete ser animadíssimo... Amanhã tenho agendada uma tarde de conversa e tricot com a minha amiga que faz anos (parabéns Elsa) e acho que vou fazer umas luvas, fáceis e rápidas. Mas um dia vou tentar fazer coisas assim. Depois conto.

Yes, that is my skinny huge fringed scarf. I have knitted it with my favourite yarn and I love to wear it. The colours are so stimulating!
A few tips for beginners,as me, that can't knit in the round yet. I found this method quite interesting: How to knit with two circular needles. I can't wait to try. Did you ever?

Foi o terceiro encontro das tricotadeiras e um sucesso. Gosto que os encontros sejam no Bairro Alto, adoro andar por aquelas ruas para chegar e voltar para casa. Chegar por outros caminhos não seria igual, e para mim, tudo isso conta. Gosto de conhecer as pessoas, todas tão diferentes e tão parecidas. Gosto de ver como o interesse pelo tricot se vai transformando numa paixão. Gosto de saber que, quantas mais máquinas tivermos, mais pessoas como nós vão querer fazer coisas com as mãos, por puro prazer.

It is always a surprise because one is never too sure about who is coming over and that is really funny. And those that I have already met are really great nice cool crafty people and it is really nice to meet them again. I ordered this wonderful button from Rosa and I can't wait to get it, I think it is so beautiful...

Precious tools. I have just got my needles order from jkl needles and I am so delighted. Those are in rosewood, made by Lantern Moon and I find them so wellcrafted, solid and handsome. I am sure that we will be very close friends. A lifetime guarranteed friendship.

Rosa is right, those could be my Felt Square Project contributions but they are paintings on plaster that I made for my Planeta Hilda exhibition in June 2003. Star, here, and Sun, below, are part of this planet's solar system, among many other stars and planets that I create. And talking about creative universes, I must tell you about Ann , she is a brilliant, talented young danish artist. I love her work. Please take a close look to her wonderful pictures.
